Welcome to AI Cleanify ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web-based image metadata processing tool.

By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Processing varies by tool: some workflows run in the browser, while server-assisted tools send the selected content to AICleanify. Each public workstation states its processing path before you begin.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

We do not require account registration. However, if you contact us, we may collect:

  • Email address (if you contact us)
  • Name (if provided)
  • Message content

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our website, we automatically collect:

  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent on site, click patterns
  • IP Address: For analytics and security purposes
  • Cookies: See Cookie Policy section below

2.3 Image Data

Important: Browser-based tools keep image pixels on your device. Other workflows may send selected files or reduced previews to AICleanify when the page disclosure says so. Depending on the tool, this may include:

  • A selected image or document for server-assisted processing
  • A reduced preview and usage data after a successful metadata-cleaning batch
  • Stored analysis records and, when storage succeeds, media used for account history

Do not submit confidential content to a server-assisted tool.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for:

  • Providing and improving our service
  • Analyzing website usage and performance
  • Responding to your inquiries
  • Preventing fraud and ensuring security
  • Complying with legal obligations

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our website and hold certain information.

  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our site

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our website. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites.

Where required, Google's certified consent-management platform presents advertising privacy choices before personalized advertising. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, you can consent, decline consent, or manage the purposes and partners shown in Google's message. Your choice may affect the types of advertisements displayed; declining consent does not block our tools.

Visit our homepage and use Ad privacy choices when Google's regional consent service makes that control available to review or withdraw your advertising consent. Ad-free pages do not load the advertising service. Advertising choices are separate from the optional analytics controls. Google's message and partner disclosures explain the applicable data processing, including cookies, device information, and advertising identifiers.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page.

5.2 Google Analytics

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and tool usage. This can involve cookies, device and browser information, and usage events. These data are not a promise of anonymity. Analytics is off until you choose to allow it, and declining analytics does not block our tools or determine your advertising consent.

Use Analytics settings in the footer to change or withdraw this choice. Withdrawing permission stops new analytics events and removes analytics cookies accessible to our site; it does not erase data already processed by Google.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5.3 Optional OpenAI Provenance Verification

When this option is available on the ChatGPT Watermark Checker, it is off by default. Selecting its separate checkbox sends that uploaded file to OpenAI for supported provenance checks. Default file inspection does not make this transfer. OpenAI processes the file under its own retention policies; this endpoint is not eligible for Zero Data Retention. Review the OpenAI provenance documentation before opting in. AICleanify deletes its temporary copy after the request. Downloaded reports may include the original filename and metadata findings; review them before sharing.

5.4 Optional SynthID Check via Resemble

Where available, this option is off by default and requires a separate checkbox for each uploaded file. Selecting it sends that file to Resemble for media analysis and watermark detection. We request source-file deletion after processing on every request. Resemble's analysis records may remain, so this is not a promise that all data is erased. The report distinguishes requested deletion from provider-reported deletion; we cannot independently audit the provider's deletion. Default inspection does not make this transfer. 6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Browser-based workflows reduce transmission risk by keeping image pixels on your device. Server-assisted workflows use the disclosures and safeguards stated on their tool pages.

7. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data
  • Right to Restrict Processing: Limit how we use your data

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
